There are many facts about Kenya that I bet you did not know. Here are just a few:

  • That Sibiloi National Park in Kenya is believed to be the cradle of mankind and the biblical ''Garden of  Eden"
  • The official color of the maasai - the indigenous semi-nomadic tribe located in Kenya and Nothern Tanzania - is red? They will always be wearing something of this color no matter how little.
  • The world's oldest primary school pupil is Kimani Nganga Maruge and he's 88 years old? Mr. Maruge, who was deprived the opportunity of going to school as a child, begun school in January 2004 when primary education was declared free in Kenya. He attends Kapkenduiya Primary School in Eldoret, which two of his grand children also attend.
  •  Tigers are Lions are close relatives. Without their coats, lion and tiger bodies are so similar that only experts can tell them apart?

  • Sidney Pollaks 'OUT  OF AFRICA' starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford was filmed partly in the Maasai National Reserve?
